This is a full time position with call requirement Offering Sign On Bonus and Relocation Assistance Responsibilities of the Operating Room Nurse Circluator A circulating nurse, or circulator, is a registered nurse whose function is to monitor the procedures in operating rooms during surgery. During operations and other surgical procedures, the circulator assists by acting as an intermediary between the operating room staff and the rest of the hospital. Requirements of the Operating Room Nurse Circluator Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing License to practice in the state of Alaska. One year of verifiable experience within the last two years as a registered nurse in a perioperative environment. Circulating experience required and scrub experience preferred for OR position. Current BLS certification or obtained during the first week of orientation ACLS and PALS certification or obtained during the first 6 months of employment. This facility is a community healthcare provider, wide range of inpatient and outpatient care, diagnostic imaging and emergency, medical and surgical services. Mat-Su Regional Medical Center also offers a sleep lab, cardiac catheterization lab, off-site urgent care facility, robotic surgery and the advanced total hip replacement procedures.
