Job Description

Great opportunity for a ICU Nurse ​ in Northwest Montana, about 2 hours from Kalispell and Glacier National Park.  

Both day and night shifts available; every third weekend requirement.
 
Responsibilities of the ICU Nurse 

  • The RN utilizes the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care of patients from admission to the department through discharge or transfer. Provides expert care and education to patients in the critical care setting, acts as a patient advocate, leader, mentor and positive role model for assistive personnel. The Critical Care RN is knowledgeable in all procedures, disease processes, interventions and pharmacological agents related to critical care.


Requirements of the ICU Nurse 

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.
  • Licensed in the State of Montana as a Registered Nurse.
  • Previous experience working in Critical Care preferred.
  • Previous experience with Intra Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP),
  • Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) preferred. CCRN preferred.
