Great opportunity for a Operating Room Nurse in the southern area of GA near the South Carolina border. SHIFTS: 3 12 hour shifts, days Offering Sign On Bonus with commitment Responsibilities of the Operating Room Nurse The role of the Registered Nurse is to perform patient care under the direction of the Nurse Manager/Director. The Registered Nurse provides therapeutic and administrative services necessary for the care of the surgical patient, and in support of the mission the hospital. The Operating Room Registered Nurse provides care for birth to pediatric, pediatric/child patients between 1 to 11 years of age; adolescent patients between 12 to 17 years of age; adult patients between 18 to 64 years; and geriatric patients 65 years and older. Requirements of the Operating Room Nurse Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with either an ADN or BSN degree. Current GA RN license required 1-3 Years recent Acute care experience required; Previous [recent] experience in the OR preferred BLS - through American Heart Association required ACLS and PALS from the American Heart Association preferred. This facility is located in the southern area of Georgia near the South Carolina border. They are recognized as a top performing hospital by the Joint Commission, Cancer Center accredited by the American College of Surgeons, Chest Pain Accredited, earned the Joint Commission's certificate of distinction for total hip and total knee replacement and spinal fusion surgery, and they are the only CARF accredited facility in our area.
